Position Summary

Housed within the Innovation Division, the Admission & Enrollment Program Manager plays a critical role in guiding the development, growth, and success of our Admission & Enrollment clients. The ideal candidate:

Reporting directly to the General Manager of Admission & Enrollment and situated within our Innovation Division, your role holds strategic importance. In this framework, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our flagship product, Slate, influencing the broader scope of higher education.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct dynamic, informative demonstrations of Slate to continue expanding our market presence and assist in the new client onboarding process.
  • Content Creation: Work alongside internal teams to develop insightful documentation and educational content, including designing online courses for Learning Lab — our premier learning management system.
  • Strategic Involvement: Aid the General Manager of Admission & Enrollment in unfolding the bigger picture—strategy formulation, community engagement, product demonstrations, marketing initiatives, and more.
  • Ideate & Innovate: Drive product development by bringing fresh, impactful ideas to the table that resonate with the desires and needs of admission & enrollment clients.
  • Expertise Development: Commit to achieving and maintaining a high degree of functional expertise with Slate, becoming an internal go-to expert.
  • Travel & Engage: Journey to pivotal industry conferences and the esteemed Slate Innovation Summit, serving as the face of our brand and capturing invaluable insights from industry leaders.
  • Other Duties as Assigned - Adapt and take on varied tasks as the landscape of our projects and needs evolves.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or greater required
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in admission and enrollment
  • Prior Slate or Slate for admission and enrollment experience
  • Ability to plan, oversee, and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ensuring effective communication across various audiences
  • Capacity to rapidly master complex software applications, particularly SaaS platforms
  • Simplify and convey complex concepts to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
  • Training users and audiences on complex software/applications
  • Knowledge of CRMs and, preferably, experience with Slate
  • Comprehensive understanding of admission & enrollment concepts, practices, operations, and the market's challenges and opportunities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment – and comfortability acting autonomously
  • On-site, in-office work five days/week in our New Haven, CT office

Preferred Experience:

  • Proficient in, or eager to acquire skills in, HTML, CSS, or other front-end frameworks
  • Experience or a willingness to learn video editing tools such as Camtasia.
